Jaguar Lacrosse Club Code of Conduct Players are to conduct themselves in a manner that "Honors the Game" and demonstrates respect to other players, coaches, officials, parents and spectators fans. In becoming a member of the lacrosse community an individual assumes certain obligations and responsibilities to the game of lacrosse and its participants. Jaguar Lacrosse Club supports the following behaviors for those who participate in the sport or are involved in any way with the Jaguar Lacrosse Club. The following essential elements of the "Code of Conduct" must be followed:
The value of good sportsmanship, the concepts of fair play, and the skills of the game will always be placed above winning. The safety and welfare of the players are of primary importance. Players should always demonstrate positive behavior and respect toward teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, parents and spectators. Players are expected to demonstrate the utmost respect for officials and reinforce that respect to players/teammates.

Player Expectations
Practice

Commit: Make practice a priority schedule your time appropriately

BE ON TIME: show up at least 15mins prior to the start of practice

Practice Like You PLAY: Go 110% during practice

Communicate: If you are going to be late or miss practice call or email Coach Olson

Code of Conduct: adhere to it on and off the field Honor the Game
Games

Commit: On or off the field, have your head in the game and actively participate

Listen: Let yourself be coached

BE ON TIME: General rule of thumb, be to game field at least 1 hour prior to game time

Help your Team: JV Players help work end lines during Varsity games, vice versa for JV games

Sportsmanship: Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times

Communicate: To your teammates and your coaches

Respect the officials
Have fun and leave the field with no regrets
